Located on the southern edge of the West Pennine Moors, wildlife lovers will feel at home here. There are many scenic trails, hill views, woods and meadows in this Bradshaw Valley park.

You can watch birdlife from hides, and fishing in the reservoir is free to holders of a North West Waters rod license.

The exhibition centre offers slide shows and displays, and there's a free brochure of events and conservation days.

Part of the Country Park is in Lancashire and part is in Great Manchester. The main parking areas for the park are at Ousel Nest, on B6391 to the north of Bromley Cross and at Jumbles Reservoir off the A676 Bolton to Ramsbottom road.
